Today we took our first trip to The Jungle. The Jungle is an indoor activity center for children of all ages. We visited The Jungle in Concord, but they also have two other locations in San Jose. When you enter The Jungle you are given a wristband with a number and your child(ren) are given a wristband with the same number in case you are separated and so you can claim your shoes on the way out. Yes, please wear socks! Our first stop, as always, was the food. We stopped in at their Mookie Cafe and grabbed a quick bite to eat. We were impressed with the amount of seating and that they had a few toddler size tables. After we ate we moved on to their toddler area to let our children play. They have a huge play/obstacle area for older children and a smaller section for toddlers (under 3) to play. The Jungle also had plenty of token games for older children and some small coin operated rides for the toddlers. As we toured The Jungle I noticed they had plenty of hand sanitizers along the way. I was also impressed by their private party rooms that are perfect for birthday parties. Overall we found The Jungle to be a fun place to let the kids run around and burn some energy off!
